I can see why you have a crush on such a beautiful place. At this rate we may never get you home. I guess that then the rest of us would have to become citizens of Alaska!! Or...come to visit more often!!
I spent a magical week in junior high (circa 1980) in Halibut Cove with my marine science class. I'll never forget it. Can't say I homesick anymore for Alaska, though. Sprinkle my ashes in SF, thank you very much. Hope all's well on the teaching front.
