I thought it would be cold in my little home in Deutschland this week but all I needed was a new bedmate. We've been snug as a couple of bugs in a rug and actually had to shed a few layers. I never knew 20 degrees cold be so warm. Tomorrow afternoon I leave the Haus der Kasch for Fairbanks and then on to Juneau. I'll miss this little guy and the cutest baby in the world that happens to reside here but good lord, I am ready for some spring break.

I think the dogs have wormed their way into your heart. An I agree you should do the foster parent thing. Or you could be like me and take a 12 year old dog into your home and spoil it rotten.
